Frequently asked questions
How can I book an appointment with you?
Click Book Now to start the booking process.
How do I prepare for my tattoo session?
Drink lots of water and eat a meal at least 30 minutes before your appointment
Moisturize your skin for up to a week leading up to your appointment
No alcohol 24 hours before appointment and avoid taking ibuprofen and other blood thinning pain medications to prevent increased bleeding during tattoo. This can affect how long I can tattoo you for.
Can I use numbing cream? If so, What should I use?
Yes, you can numb the area you are getting tattooed! However, in some cases it can affect how your skin takes ink which means the tattoo could potentially take more time than usual. This does not always happen but its a 50/50 chance that it will. I carry numbing that you can buy prior to your appointment, or you can order Dr. Numb off of Amazon. Although these are my recommended creams you are welcome to use any topical numbing that you are comfortable with.
How do I apply numbing?
There is a specific way to apply numbing to get the best results. Exfoliate and shave the area you are getting tattooed. Apply numbing cream generously to the area. DO NOT RUB IN ALL THE WAY, leave the cream in a thick layer on your skin. Wrap the area in plastic wrap and do not remove until you are at your appointment.
How long does it take for my tattoo to heal?
Tattoos take 6-8 weeks to fully heal. However, I use a second skin like wrap that speeds up the healing to about 4 weeks as long as it is left on for the full time which is 5-6 days.
